Magic Pairs is a memory card game developed by Mateusz Bajak ("we", "us", "our"). This app is designed for children and families. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Data Collection

Magic Pairs does not directly collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

No personal information is collected by us (name, email, phone, etc.)
No location data is collected
No user accounts are required

Local Storage

The app stores game data (leaderboard scores, player names, settings, and game progress) locally on your device using Unity's PlayerPrefs. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Third-Party Services

Magic Pairs uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob (Advertising)

We display ads through Google AdMob. The app is configured for child-directed treatment (COPPA compliant):

Ad content is restricted to G-rated (MaxAdContentRating.G)
Child-directed treatment is enabled (TagForChildDirectedTreatment)
Users are tagged as under age of consent (TagForUnderAgeOfConsent)
No personalized ads are served

Google Play Games Services

The app optionally integrates with Google Play Games for leaderboards and achievements. If the user signs in, their Google Play Games display name is used. No additional data is collected by us.

Unity In-App Purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases (coin packs) through Google Play Billing. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Unity Push Notifications

The app schedules local notifications (game reminders) on the device. These are local only — no data is sent to any server.

Children's Privacy (COPPA / Families Policy)

Magic Pairs is designed for children and families and complies with Google Play's Families Policy:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
Ads are child-directed and non-personalized
No behavioral tracking or profiling is performed
No social features that allow children to communicate with others
In-app purchases require parental authentication through Google Play

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. The only data shared is through the third-party services described above, under their respective privacy policies.
